Online presence for Sehwag's School and Brand identity concepts

Everybody knows Virender Sehwag in India. He enjoys a cult following amongst cricket aficionados and the Sehwag brand is almost legendary.

Amongst the numerous opportunities for extending his personal brand, Sehwag chose establishing the Sehwag International School and the 23-acre eco-friendly flagship Sehwag Cricket Academy, the latter with the sole aim of providing quality cricket training, world-class cricketing infrastructure and an opportunity to learn from the experts. He was exploring ways of consolidating the strength of his brand in future business forays.

Woodapple was approached to develop a consolidated brand for Virender Sehwag and his associated business entities. According to experts the record-breaking innings by the ‘Nawab of Najafgarh’ as Sehwag is commonly known, has not only made him the top-scorer in one-day cricket but also enhanced his brand value tremendously. While we created a personal branding signature logo to match his achievement, we also designed the Sehwag International school website along with key stakeholders. Our involvement included interviewing school authorities, campus visit, content and media repository building etc. The website was deployed using Woodapple’s new SaaS software ‘Teamworks 360'.
